What's on this Christmas in North Wales

Alongside it's stunning scenery and landscapes, North Wales also has a great range of activities on offer this Christmas. We thought we would share a few for any visitors to North Wales this winter.

Zip World Llechwedd

November 25th and runs until December 24th.

Visit Zip World Llechwedd this winter for their magical underground grotto. Visitors will be greeted with a complimentary mince pie and a hot chocolate or mulled wine before they venture 500ft underground into the slate mine grotto. Children can give their Christmas letter to Santa directly or post it in the Zip World North Pole post box. A wonderful day out for all the family!

The enchanted forest at Greenwood family park

Greenwood Family Park in Felinheli is hosting a night-time adventure this winter, guests wonder through the forest which is illuminated with magical lights. Visit Santa’s cottage and spot the naughty elves! This year the forest also features an elf village and the Wood barn lodge. Warm up with a festive drink and food from the special festive menu.

Meet and greet with Santa at Pili Palas

Santa will be returning to Pili Palas on Anglesey, from Saturday 26th November 2022 until Friday 23rd December this year! Families can choose to visit for breakfast, lunch or tea which includes a visit to the Grotto, a gift from Santa himself and a visit to the zoo and soft play area!

Christmas Markets

Llandudno Christmas Lights

Why not wander through Llandudno this Christmas and see the spectacular Christmas lights that decorate the town. Wrap up warm, grab a warm drink from a local café and take a stroll through the town or along the promenade.

 

RSPB Conwy Nature Reserve

Why not visit RSPB Conwy Nature reserve this winter for a warming walk with all the family. Situated right on the banks of the Conwy estuary, you can expect great views of Conwy. The reserve is now home to a variety of wonderful wildlife, including warblers, waders, and wildfowl.

Santa Trains at Welsh Highland Railway

The Welsh Highland Railway are hosting a range of events this winter. The Santa trains between Caernarfon and Rhyd Ddu, provide visitors with the chance to meet Santa and his elves. The Caernarfon station gift shop will be open on your return, so you can purchase a souvenir of your day or perhaps a festive gift!
