What to pack: Glamping must-haves

At Tan Y Bryn Glamping, we aim to provide our guests with a magical, luxurious experience. Our beautifully built cedar pods are all individually designed to create an incredibly stylish and relaxing environment, where you can spend time chilling in the private hot tub or enjoying the fire pits which overlook exceptional views of the Welsh countryside and the Great Orme.

Although we do our best to provide guests with everything they could possibly need when glamping, it is also important to remember that you’re going to be spending time outdoors.

Here are some must-haves to make sure your glamping trip is a success:

Comfortable clothing: You’ll want to make sure you have plenty of comfortable, loose clothing to keep you warm and dry. Layering is key for outdoor activities, so pack items such as t-shirts, jumpers, and a light jacket. It’s also important to bring a hat, gloves, and a scarf to keep your head and neck warm whilst outdoors. However, when it comes to being indoors, our pods have central heating available all year round to provide a warm welcome and each bed is fitted with superior bedding, throws included to ensure you have a cosy stay!

Footwear: Make sure you bring several pairs of shoes to accommodate different activities. You’ll need a pair of comfortable hiking boots or shoes for exploring, as well as a pair of lightweight sandals or flip-flops for when you’re lounging around the campsite. Slippers are a great idea for when you venture to the private hot tub and terrace!

Waterproofs: As much as we love the sunshine, being based in Wales we can never predict the weather. You never know when you’ll need it, so make sure you pack a raincoat, a pair of rain pants, and some waterproof boots.

Swimwear: Swimwear is essential during your stay at Tan Y Bryn as you don’t want to miss out on your own private hot tub! Your swimming gear may also come in handy if you choose to visit some of the beautiful beaches here in North Wales!

Activities: To enjoy your stay and make the most of your time here, why not pack a few activities to keep you occupied, for example, a journal and pen are great for jotting down your thoughts and capturing the scenery. A few good books can help pass the time and provide a much-needed break from the digital world. Board games are a great way to spend time with friends or family while taking a digital detox! Each pod is equipped with a smart TV – Perfect for a movie night.

Food: Every pod at Tan Y Bryn is fitted with a fully functional kitchen with a microwave, hob, and fridge. Tea Towels, Tea, Coffee, and sugar are also provided! We provide all the essential equipment; all you need to bring is the food – don't forget the midnight snacks! There are also multiple pubs and restaurants within the local area if cooking is not on your priority list whilst you stay!

Each pod includes two fluffy robes and towels, so you do not need to worry about towels taking up extra room in your suitcase!

Our team are at reception to greet you and are always on hand to help with anything you may need!
